Terrane Metal Corps mission is to contribute to the wellbeing and the long-term strength, effectiveness, and sustainability of the communities potentially affected by the mine and its operations. The process will be carried out with the ongoing involvement and participation of local communities. Thus our mission includes building durable relationships with local First Nations and local communities to help enable them to plan and to develop policies, programs and projects that will contribute to their long term social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Terrane Metal Corp's commitment to contributing to sustainability in economic, social, cultural, and environmental spheres for communities close to the Mt Milligan Mine is ongoing. Terrane aims to include First Nations and local community participation as a means to address issues, advice and provision to support existing, developing or new community organizations and projects. In order to facilitate the growth of communities that are independent from mining operations, Terrane has developed a Sustainability Management Plan and the Community Sustainability Committee to help develop strategies that enhance communities' and individuals' capacities.
